A pilot has come up with a unique way of proposing to his girlfriend.
It's just unbelievable that Ryan Thompson proposed to his girlfriend, Carly Kennedy, by pretending the plane he was piloting was just getting out of control and might be crashed.
You see, Ryan Thompson tricked Carly Kennedy into thinking the plane was
going down and the flight controls weren’t responding so she could read
him the instructions on what to do. Those instructions were, of course,
altered to reveal his proposal.
"The checklist is complete ... and it says the rings may be engaged ...
and to initiate the ring engagement procedure," his girlfriend reads. "Will you marry me?"
she continues, taking several seconds to realize that the plane wasn't
actually about to go down. Luckily for Thompson, his girlfriend was
impressed by the stunt and accepted the "In Descent Proposal."
Appearing on Good Morning America, Kennedy said: "I genuinely did believe that we were going to die.
"I felt that our lives depended on me reading that checklist."
She added: "A lot of women that I've the told story to have said, 'I would have slapped him'."
